The German Shepherd Dog Club of Pakistan was established on the 18th of May, 2015 under the Companies Ordinance 1984 (XLVII of 1984) as a non-profit organization. The club’s main aim is to promote interest, security, proper appreciation and recognition of this breed in the country. The company is headquartered in the Islamabad Capital Territory and is managed and operated by its Board of Directors.
Some major targets of this non-profit organization are to collect and publish information related to the German Shepherd Dog. The responsibilities of GSDCP include the issuance of pedigrees, insertion of microchips for identification purposes, breeding programs, conduction of breed surveys, broadcasting of dietary and veterinary information, training and handling, arrangement of dog shows and the deliverance of all other kinds of educational material for the overall benefit of the members.
